Mold Damage Noticed after Wall is Removed

Mold Behind Wall after Water Damage

This Germantown house needed some wall removed after a water damage. After careful inspection SERVPRO Technicians noticed that water was pooling in the metal studs and mold was growing on the wall. SERVPRO of Germantown / Collierville were able to clean up the mold damaged wall using containment and an air filtration device.

In order not to remove the mold it was necessary to remove as much damaged materials as possible and contain the damaged area to keep any left over mold from gaining access to water and oxygen if the area did get wet again.
